50th Anniversary Theme and Logo Competition

Terms and Conditions

The University invites interested persons and firms to participate in the competition to select a theme and logo for the University’s 50th Anniversary in 2018.

The selected entry will be used to brand all official anniversary items and events such as print and digital publications, merchandise etc.

Persons or firms may enter separate entries in either the logo competition or theme competition or may enter both.


Separate entries can be submitted in either the theme competition or logo competition, or, both. There is no limit to the number of entries which may be submitted by the same firm or individual.

Only original entries will be considered. The winning entries will become the sole property of USP. USP reserves the right to make any necessary alterations to the winning theme and logo for proper formatting-related purposes without the consent of the winning entrant(s).

Because of the requirement to register the logo as a trademark, entrants should take care to ensure that their Entries are not in any way similar to existing logos or other copyrighted images. A logo that cannot be registered as a trademark, no matter how well crafted, cannot win the contest.

Selection of Winning Entries

Judging will be done by the USP 50th Anniversary Steering Committee. Rules not adhered to by the entrant(s) will result in exclusion from the competition.
The winning entrant(s) will be duly notified of their success as well as the date when the prize(s) will be handed over.
